There are articles on PAT testing with emphasis on "in-house" PAT testing. For many companies, "in-house" PAT testing could result in cost savings. The information here attempts to show how straightforward PAT testing really is. The HSE say that if a PAT tester with PASS and FAIL indication is used, then someone with no electrical skills can carry out the PAT testing.
